Zelenskiy denied the development of weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine

He noted that laboratories in the country are engaged in “ordinary science.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday that his country has not developed and is not developing chemical or any other weapons of mass destruction.

“No one is developing any chemical or any other weapons of mass destruction on our land. And the whole world knows this,” the Ukrainian leader stressed in a video message published on his Telegram channel.

He noted that laboratories in the country have remained since the Soviet era and are engaged in “ordinary science.”
